We strongly recommend that attendees pay what they can so that we can compensate our performers and grow our events. If you’re financially able, consider paying a little more to help fund someone else’s ticket.

We explicitly do not profit from our events–all proceeds go towards our DJs, growing the soundsystem, and ensuring that future PETRICORPS events are a possibility.

We will be accepting Cash, Venmo, and Cashapp at the Welcome Booth. While there will won’t be cell reception, we will have a satellite hotspot available at the location.

The location of APHELION will be emailed to you on the evening of Thursday, June 18th.

Expect a 2 hour drive eastwards from Downtown Seattle. Directions TBA via email.

Please drive carefully. The location is in a back country forest area and there will be potholes on the road to the event.

There is no cell reception at the location. However, we will have a satellite wi-fi hotspot available for payments and emergencies.

There is a small creek on site. If you wish to dip in it, we ask that guests minimize usage of skin products (bug spray, lotion, etc.) prior to use. This is to minimize our harm to the ecosystem.

We have a zero tolerance policy on bigotry, trans/homophobia, classism, misogyny, racism, sexism, ableism, and violations of consent.

If someone has made you feel uncomfortable in any of these ways, please notify a member or a volunteer of PETRICORPS and we will have them leave. No strikes, no exceptions.

The event and campground is located on public land. Please be respectful to the earth.

Camping overnight is okay and encouraged. There will be plenty of space for tents. Camper vehicles are okay, but parking is limited. 

We strongly encourage attendees to pack warm clothing and rain gear in the case of inclement weather conditions.

If you are camping and need a place to park that is close to the campsite, please read the ‘Parking’ section for more information.

Due to local fire restrictions, we are not allowing open fires for APHELION. This is for the safety of both the forest and our attendees.

We will be providing propane heaters to keep attendees warm in the forest.

Camp stoves are allowed as long as they are used safely. Please do not leave stoves unattended.

Practice Radical Self-Reliance.

Take agency in making sure that you have everything you need for yourself before you leave. If someone else packs your bag, double check that you have everything you need to be safe and comfortable. 

Rain is always a possibility. 

We strongly encourage attendees to pack warm clothing, water resistant shoes, and rain gear in the case of inclement weather conditions.

Please keep an eye on the weather and plan accordingly. STAYING DRY is the best way to keep warm.

Nalaxone (Narcan), Fentanyl test strips, handwarmers, electrolyte mix, and earplugs will be available at the first-aid tent.

We believe in adhering to a model focused on harm-reduction and community safety. Our intention is to create a space that encourages presence and connection over alienation. We implore visitors to connect with each other and the world around.

There will be volunteers with some medical training, however this event is "rave-at-your-own-risk".

First Aid Kits will be available to treat minor injuries. Please ensure you bring any/all personal medications you may need. Consider forming a safety plan with a friend to account for any individual medical needs.

If you’re having a medical emergency, please visit the first-aid tent or reach out to a Petricorps volunteer/member. We will be wearing bright green bands.

Limited food options will be available. We are serving free vegan soup. Tofu scramble will be served around dawn.

Please bring extra food for yourself—this is a DIY event and we do not have enough for everyone.

We highly suggest bringing cups/bottles for water and bowls + silverware for food to help us reduce waste.

Alcohol will not be served at this event.

Please bring your own water to the event.

While we will be bringing our own water as a supplement for our attendees, it is important that you bring your own. We recommend at least a gallon a person per day.

Please bring your own cups, bottles, canteens, jugs, etc. to reduce waste.

We suggest that attendees pack the following:

• Water (0.5-1 gallon per attendee per day)

• Food & Snacks

• Hammocks

• Warm clothes

• Cool clothes

• Rain-wear

• Headlamp or a Flashlight

• Eating utensils and a bowl

• Bug repellant (we suggest Picaridin, not DEET products)

If you bring it with you, pack it out. Leave no trace.

Some garbage collection will be provided by PETRICORPS, but we ask kindly that you take your own waste home with you and dispose of it when possible.

If we find you littering in the forest, we will ask you to pick up your trash and leave.

To prevent wild animals from wandering into camp, please store all food and “smelly” items in cars or bear canisters.

We implore our attendees to practice radical self and community care. Please consider your own mental and physical needs prior to departure. However, we also encourage attendees to help and care for one another and to reach out to Petricorps if any assistance is needed.

While we are not predicting rain on the day of the APHELION, we suggest dressing and preparing appropriately.

We’re asking for attendees to pack for wet conditions—staying dry is the best way to remain warm.

Rain or shine, the event will happen regardless. Please stay prepared.

We will be crafting an altar for our celebration and we invite attendees to bring offerings in remembrance to those we love, those who have come before, those who have passed, and those who will be.

A tea tent will be erected for weary dancers.

Portable lavatories will be available to reduce waste in the woods.

We are strongly encouraging attendees to carpool this year.

If you are not camping, please park by the side of the road where everyone else is parked on.

If we notice a car that is parked incorrectly, we will ask you to re-park it. This is to allow for the fire marshals to pass in case of an emergency.

If you are camping, there are a limited number of spots available within the campground itself. A parking volunteer will assist you in coordinating where you will be parking. Please let us know upon arrival.

We strongly discourage phones on the dancefloor.

We ask that attendees respect the privacy of others by obtaining consent prior to taking any photography.

If this is not feasible, please make all attempts to obscure the faces of the attendees who have not given express permission to be photographed.

While we hold a deep love for animals, we’re asking for attendees to not bring their pets to APHELION.

We currently do not have the infrastructure nor ability to facilitate animals.
